Romanesque Centre

This interpretation space provides visitors with the initial keys to discover and understand the Romanesque churches of the Boi Valley.

An agreeable way you can find out how the Romanesque got here, where the iconography come from, how the Mediaeval society was, what techniques were used in the building and decoration of the churches, what they looked like at the beginning of the 20th century and, finally, voices from the past explaining their relationship with the Romanesque heritage of the Boi Valley.

 

The Vall de Boí Romanesque Centre offers:

  • Practical information for visiting the churches: information leafets about the Romanesque monuments, opening hours, ticket prices, ticket sales
  • Shop with specialyzed Romanesque publications and cultural heritage, gifts: postcards, book-markers.
  • Guided tours service all year round, by previous arrangement.
  • Guided tours  for the general public at predetermined times during the summer season, Easter week, some bank holidays.
