This Saturday, September 21, Ta\u00fcll hosts Astres<\/em>, an audiovisual experience for all audiences, as part of the launch events for Lux Mundi<\/em><\/a>, a new mapping that connects the cultural heritage of the Romanesque paintings of the Vall de Bo\u00ed with digital technology, and which can be seen at Sant Climent de Ta\u00fcll starting from September 22.   The Playmodes studio, in collaboration with Elvira Prado-Fabregat (text and voice), will interpret the spectacular immersive piece in which laser beams are used to point at the stars and draw constellations, both real and “invented.” Creating an immersive experience in the midst of nature, the Playmodes studio aims to reclaim this universal heritage that extends beyond human civilizations, raising awareness about the loss of darkness and the nocturnal beauty of the sky in our cities. A ritual of artistic expression, technology, and natural phenomena.   The Astres <\/em>show will take place at the meadow of <\/strong>Camping Ta\u00fcll<\/strong><\/a> at 9:30 pm<\/strong> on Saturday, September 21. Admission is free, and it is recommended to bring warm clothing and mats or blankets to lie on. “Since ancient times, humanity has observed the spectacle of the stars in the dark night sky: it was a way to conceive time, predict the seasons, and create calendars. The sky became the divine realm of gods and goddesses, while science used it to develop navigation techniques, eventually conquering space and orbital telecommunications. Today, humanity has lost the night sky. Light pollution in our cities makes it impossible to see the stars and evoke the ancient stories told by the constellations.”  <\/p>\n

Astres<\/em> is an ongoing research at the intersection of art and science in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, supported by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia. Using laser projection mapping, specialized audio, and the stars in the sky.  Playmodes<\/strong> is a small digital craft workshop led by Eloi Maduell and Santi Vilanova. This team of engineers, musicians, and graphic creators develops audiovisual works for non-screen-based mediums. Interested in space and its expressive possibilities as a canvas for the audiovisual experience, they create immersive works that appeal to perception and the senses.
