Lux Mundi, a unique audiovisual experience with the digital creativity of four catalan multimedia studios with international relevance.
Created for the commemoration of the 900 years of the consecration of Sant Climent de Taüll church with the will to connect the cultural heritage with the digital technology.
Organized by Antònia Folguera, four artists and digital studios Alba G. Corral, Desilence, Hamill Industries and Masso reinterpret the fresques of the apse from the church of Sant Climent de Taüll, with soundtrack by Tarta Relena.

FRESC - Alba G. Corral
Alba G. Corral is a visual artist, code developer and teacher, with formation in informatic engineering. Alba makes art with code since more than a decade through live acts, video, digital media and installations, but what made her recognized internationally are the live actuations where she integrates code and visuals with musicians in real time.
FRESC is a piece inspired in the Romanesque fresco technique, taking as a principal reference the Christ in Magesty from Taüll. Imaginary paintings that explore the use of colors and shapes. This digital investigation around the fresco technique brought her to explore new shapes and chromatic palettes, recalling the aesthetics of the original colors, giving room to new visual standpoints.

CLAROBSCUR - Masso
Jordi Massó is a visual artist centring his work in videomapping, the real time visuals and immersive and interactive settings and projection in full dome.
CLAROBSCUR explores the transformative power of light in the space. From its entrance, the light reveals the Romanesque paintings that once decorated the church of Sant Climent de Taüll discovering the details that were lost in time. The light acquires a symbolic meaning as a manifestation of divinity and representing its constant fight against darkness.

SACRA - Desilence
Tatiana Halbach and Søren Christensen are the creative duo Desilence. From 2005 they created great scenic spectacles, live visuals, virtual scenografies for theater, dance and music.
SACRA is a piece inspired in sacred geometry, the mathematical language that shapes and arranges the nature and the universe. About the paintings of Sant Climent de Taüll, they were surprised about how “through the elements like the circle, the simetry and the centrality, theese representations transcend what is merely visual to communicate profound theological ideas, connecting the Christ with perfection, order and eternity”.
His work wants to “explore the connection between the spiritual and the physical, fusing cultures, traditions and philosophies through a universal graphical language.

PLUS ULTRA - Hamill Industries
Hamill Industries are Pablo and Anna, a creative pairing specialized in developing innovation projects based in experimentation and mixing of emerging and traditional techniques. They do artistic and technologic research in the field of visual arts and light and sound exploration. For every project they develop their own tools and inventions, combining digital and analogical efects in unexpected ways.
PLUS ULTRA in a free allegory about the other side, a cosmic dance that tells us about the creation and destruction of the world, the harmony, the infinite, the subatomical worlds, the cosmos, the liquid realities, water, fire, air and earth, and the atomical energy.
