Giravolt promotes the use of 3D scanning technology and the treatment of the resulting models within the Catalan cultural heritage sector. It is an initiative of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, through the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage and the Catalan Cultural Heritage Agency, with the involvement of organisations and museums in the country.
